We offer up the freshest oysters on the Gulf Coast. Every order is packed fresh and can only be shipped priority due to the product being perishable. We sell many different oysters from shucked oysters, to farm raised oysters, to wild caught oysters in the shell. Everything we have is fresh and HACCP certified. All orders will be processed the next day and shipped the next business day.
These oysters will arrive refrigerated and must remain so. When properly refrigerated, the shell oysters will keep 3 to 4 days and shucked oysters 10 days. A live and healthy oyster will have its shell tightly closed and shucked oysters will be a pretty creamy white color. Oysters that have opens shells are dead and shouldn't be consumed. Due to the sensitivity of oysters and the stress caused by transport, we cannot guarantee that all orders will be living/consumable upon delivery. We do guarantee that all the necessary precautions have been taken in shipping these oysters and we do our best to ensure every oyster is alive upon delivery. Because of our confidence that all the proper steps have been taken, we will not issue a reimbursement for deliveries. You will receive tracking information with a delivery time upon submitting your order. We do recommend that you are present when your order arrives so you can make sure your product is taken care of as soon as you receive it. Because this is a perishable product we only offer priority overnight shipping, which causes the price to be high.
This item is special order and cannot be canceled or returned once your order is placed. Please contact us prior to placing your order if you have any questions or concerns.
The best oyster experience of our lives. Thanks Travis and family!

Joan Doe,
store owner
Crimson Bay was established in 1995 in the small town of Bayou La Batre , Alabama by Travis Stringfellow. Travis planned on just catching and shucking his own Oysters which was great until everyone wanted them which in turn made him quit harvesting and just process. So now Travis and Jade ( his daughter) buy Oysters from every state on the Gulf Coast, Virginia, Maryland, and even as far away as Maine. In the many years we have been in business God and Country has been very good to us, with a little Blood, sweat, and tears of course. We Process Oysters year round, and are only closed on major Holidays, but do take care of your orders before hand. We also have our knives made locally and are built to last and are great for opening our shelled oysters.
